I asked about the logo on the dustcap thing through their contact page and they quickly responded. They said they might be able to work with someone, but it looks like it's too early to tell. There will be some R&D going on, as they have already reduced the number of magnet slugs from 3 down to 2, with no apparent loss of motor strength judging by the T/S parameters.

I hope so. A good shallow mount sub might be nice, as would something unusual - perhaps a driver optimized for horns?

do they sell drivers without the big logo on the cap? Assuming so, if not it wd put off alot of potential buyers imo. good luck to the new owners, push it on social media, IG etc

Dan was also quite helpful on the boards, taught a lot and cut through a lot of BS. Hope he'll return. IIRC, that was the "bass list" which is gone; maybe he'll appear on another one like TT.

The Brahma's have nearly 30mm one-way Xmax, spasticteapot.

Didn't see it because it wasn't listed in 15" for sale. Whoops!

When I was in high school, that was a lot. Today, the Tymphany STW-15 promises 60% more excursion for the same money, and it's not "available soon" - you can get 'em from PE for about $440 after coupon (with free shipping, too!)

And, even if it weren't, I'd buy my sub from the company that wasn't defunct last week.
