A while back I bought a pair of Tang Band W5-704D's from a friend for $40.00 new. So, I would like to make a set of speakers. I can not find anything on this speaker in the way of builds. All I have seen is that it is frequently paired with the Vifa BC25 SC06-04.
Now this will be my first build in the way of home speakers. I understand what the numbers mean on speaker specs, I understand how a crossover works. However, I have no clue as to how to build a crossover or even how to pair a 4ohm tweeter with an 8ohm woofer?
What would be real nice would be to find some instructions on any bookshelf build using the Tang Band woofer. I am great on following instructions. Or, can you tell me what crossover to get if I can not build my own. I would imagine the crossover should be 5000 hz with this combo? And, what do I do with pairing different ohm speakers? I imagine that is in the crossover as well?
