  • What should I tune my subwoofer for?

I'm building my first subwoofer box and it is tuned for 24.7hz/-3db, I'm going to use it in my home theater where I mostly watch movies (sometimes I listen to music). I would like to know if it is tuned correctly for my intends.

To answer the question if the tuning is correct you should provide the box and port size. If the question is "24.7 Hz" low enough for a HT sub, I'd say yes but there are "others" who want lower/ more house shaking.

Thank you for the response, the box is about 75L (sorry I don't have the exact number right now), the port dimensions are 34cm x 3.5cm, the length is of 76 cm.

Your box model/tuning looks good to me.
