I'd think the diaphragm might be glued in, so I'd be worried of severing the connections on the back.
I suppose it depends on how much money you want to gamble with...

Last I knew, these were riveted, and I would not advise it.

The GRS version appears to use little screws and nuts to hold them together, though I can imagine it'd be easy to tear the connections away from the diaphragm if the two halves were separated. I'm trying to figure out a way to spray paint the housing.

Does anyone know if the Neo 3 or the GRS counterpart can be taken apart? The last time I tried to take apart a planar driver, the magnets shifted and I destroyed the diaphragm. Thanks.
