Hah! LOL! I have them constructed, and only the finish to do, but I'm sure little ol' me ain't the reason it was postponed.

It's not senility but a combination of sometimes getting in a hurry, thinking one thing but typing something different that spell check can't catch, not performing an adequate review before posting, etc. I definitely did not think we'd have a time machine to take us back to 2020 to recover what we lost.

I'm pretty sure that PE sent out feelers to at least all of the regular attendees who enter the speaker competition. What they got back probably were too many different "needs" that they felt they could not satisfy in total, especially considering what the Covid pandemic was requiring. However, from my viewpoint, at least the speaker competition could have been held with some minimal cautionary measures, especially since Ohio's Covid-related restrictions were no longer required starting early this month and the competition would not be held until September. Everyone that wants a vaccination against Covid-19 can get one easily now, well before the event would have taken place. I do understand PE probably felt the risks weren't worth the rewards as a business. I see absolutely no reason there can't/won't be a MWAF in 2022 (assuming there isn't another world-wide pandemic created by China!).

Did Covid kill Midwest Audio Fest too?

I was surfing some bookmarks and tried to load midwestaudiofest.com and it is gone and now goes to PE https://www.parts-express.com/midwest-audiofest July 2020.

What happened to the website? Anyone know?
