Yeah happy as can be to be honest. Just need to do a day test to see how long it can operate for on the 1200mah 18350 battery im using. I do have one other that i want to finish in the glow in the dark one, but need to retro fit a top on to it. but no rush.

Even with the pictures earlier I somehow underestimated how...can-like?..it looks until watching the videos (maybe the camera movement highlights how smooth and glossy you got it).
            Really cool results.

No you saw right, I sanded this like it was timber from 80grit all the way though to 800 grit. Was a bit pedantic with the finish considering the fact it portable

Fyi I had it running today at a moderate volume as I was working at got over 6 hours until it decided to lose connection...which may be due to my BT headphones being also paired. Would be interesting to let it run all day with no clashes and see what runtime I get. Thought that was fantastic for one 18350 1200mah battery setup so far

Ok couldn't just waste a perfectly good print/paint job.... Did this one slightly different where there are dual 10mm ports (did prior to modelling) and created a internal sleeve that you glue in place and bolt the lid down to.

Fun fact this ones white regions will glow in the dark and is technically MK7

Yeah I won't be doing anymore cans, this is just finishing off a 75% complete job that's been staring at me with puppy eyes to pay it some love. The way this one ended up i was trying to utilise some of the deadspace around the edges, where the Mk8 was extremely tight and i suspect may take up more internal volume than this iteration, will be interesting to see when 100% assembled if this one has more of the lower end than its younger brother. I also tried something different with the DSP and looked at the bass shelf/boost option in lieu of the EQ

Ok done, might need to put some stuffing in it, but all wired up.

Will do a test tomorrow as the kids are asleep.

I like this one as it glows don't know how it will sound

Almost the same as MK8, just different assembly at the top and mounts for the hardware. The other noticeable difference is just the DSP settings are slightly different to the other.

I'm looking into a slightly larger 12v option that used a ND65 driver as well.....let's see how that plays out lol
