Ben, please add my name to the list of participants for this year's competition. After several failed attempts, I finally stumbled on a simple, low cost layout with smooth target slopes and good preference ratings. I'm currently gathering parts and drilling boards. I also plan to bring my completed Retro Speakers, so put me down for 1 theme and 1 non-theme this year. Thanks. Bill
For those on the fence about coming, and wanting to stay at the Hampton, the time for room reservation at the group rate is slowly disappearing. It expires in April.
Bill- I'll get your entry updated.

All done. Tested, packed, and sealed up inside an old 12x18" box, ready to be hand delivered. I taped my name on both the box AND the internal xovers to assist theme-crew members during the lottery-drawn lettering process. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next month!!
I was planning an end panel with labeled banana jacks. Checking documentation...
EDIT - Got it:
I feel these will suit us really easily. This means that xovers should adhere to a 6" x 10" platform to fit the bags, and with a height of 3" or less. If able to cut the 10" dimension down a bit, please do. I also would prefer that the connections be across the short end (6"), so that it is easier to hook them up, and fold them up when done for swapping. (Please keep sharp or pointy surfaces at a minimum to maintain xover anonymity as more pokes = more visible.) Previously stated 4-banana plugs for outputs, and 2 banana jacks for binding posts from the amp still apply here. I feel 12" for plug wires should be plenty, and make sure they are well marked. All speakers will be setup for toe-in, unless marked on the xover boards as such.
Plan remains, I'll just have to whip up 4 short nana to nana speaker cables to bring along. No biggie

Looks like I need to re-word my checklist for clarity. The second item should probably read "All in/out bananas connected to the same short 6" end on each of the two 6x10" crossover boards."
I was thinking about doing 4 short nana to nana speaker cables as well, but decided to go with two banana jacks for the inputs and four 12" long pigtail banana plugs for the tweeter/woofer outputs because this was cheaper (total of 8 plugs needed verses total of 16 plugs for both channels).
I'd prefer hard wired leads, but i guess this is not a problem. The leads will need to be turned in with xovers upon arrival. The option to add upon demo slot time will not be accepted.
Even 4 conductor cable is fine if the leads are labeled.

Wolf says "This means that xovers should adhere to a 6" x 10" platform to fit the bags, and with a height of 3" or less"
I am assuming that you mean no larger than 6 x 10" and smaller is OK. Or, do you prefer that the boards are all about the same size? I am looking at 4 x 8" or so, is that too small? I've got to get to finishing these pretty soon now...
Yes, those are maximum dimensions, and yours should be fine at 4x8.
Of note;
We will be using the tables at the front of the room for the ML demo, sans speaker stands. They're about the right height and this way the xovers will be staged per cabinet behind the associated channel. We will pull them forward to the chosen listening position that everything else will use, so distance will not be a factor. This way Nick and I can swap from behind the setup.
Looking forward to this!
