  • Any designs using TB W6-1721?

I see the Tang Band W6-1721 6-1/2 are on sale (still kinda pricy). Does anybody know or have any designs using these? I've been curious about these for years after really loving the W4 in the Speedsters.

There are several out there. I know Ed Rosenquist and Pete Schumacher did one.

      JavadS Fatboys. https://techtalk.parts-express.com/f...-speaker-build

I got a pair of these for about $60 each at the 2019 tent sale. They were the deadline deal of the weekend plus 10% off due to the tent sale. I saw the sale price this weekend and reminded how much some prices have gone up.

I have NOT used them yet, but I asked Paul K. to model a TL and off course he was nice enough to do it. If you are interested in the model, PM me.

Pete/Ed's might not be public, but I wouldn't know for sure.

FWIW, the FatBoys were Javad's first self-designed xover, and I did not care for them.

Thanks Wolf. I’m not interested in the fatboys.

Copper was by Marty and TunDar was by Lou C, but both used the 5"

I tried to send you a PM but your "box" was full. David ("a4eaudio") sent you the details about the TL design I did for him for this driver. If you have any questions, send me PM that includes your direct email address and I will answer your questions.
