Ouch.
Here's the winISD file if anyone's interested. Change .txt to .wdr.
Get an f3 of around 34hz in 55Ltrs tuned to 32Hz. Max mechanical power of about 35watts.Attached FilesConstructions: Dayton+SB 2-Way v1 | Dayton+SB 2-Way v2 | Fabios (SB Monitors)
Refurbs: KLH 2 | Rega Ela Mk1

Even if I could afford it, what could I do with it, that I couldn’t do with other drivers?
Some odd behaviour between 600-1Khz; and a mild shelf, which really limits it to a woofer use, but not displacement for a subwoofer.
The sensitivity is nice at 90dB/2.83V (8ohm)
I am missing something…

Thanh, the high HD is what the driver is missing. The TSCW636 woofers I have measure REALLY low through the mid band. I expect these are no different.
However, I DID notice that the SCW/TSCW moniker drivers from Morel have taken a HUGE price hike. They are up about $120 over the previous retail cost.

It would need a low-reacher in a 2-way, but my initial thought was a woofer for the TSCM634 and the Textreme SB tweeter. Maybe the TX tweeter would do it, but that's hard to say...

Suppose you were gifted these. And someone was making boxes for you.
It’s like any other speaker you build- how large a cabinet is acceptable.
based on datasheet I’d go with 1.5cu ft with Fb 27 for F3 42Hz;, as a woofer for a 3 way. Taking it up to 600Hz to a Morel 2-4” cone/domeLast edited by tktran; 01-03-2022, 05:15 AM.

A pair of these woofers would go VERY NICELY with these tweeters, I suspect.

Probably crossover around 1800. Smallest sealed box as possible...
