  • Kitchen sound???

Bought myself a 13" TV/FM radio for the kitchen for my birthday/Christmas and it has 1 1/2" speakers on the back. But it has a real headphone out too! Lepai amp and a couple of small computer monitor type speakers should be the cure, right? I don't see anything available like the ND-90/91 or NS-3-8 to build with. Am I missing something???

What about the little VIFA full range speakers - TC7-04 or TG9 -04?

The ND90-8 and both ND91s show in stock for me.
the ND65 is also a fun little 60 Hz driver too.

Al, that would be very hard for me to believe ...
            The company was AURA, BTW.

OK, the ND90/91's didn't show up for me nor did any Aura's (I thought PE still carried them). I searched "3" full-range speakers" but not ND 90-8 or ND 91-8 so I'll try again. Is there a Dayton micro-tweeter/XO worth adding into a 15L-ish enclosure (ND-20 or the like) or just go with the "Sprite" filter?

I'm not sure if links work any better, but worth a shot.

I feel like 3inch or larger full-range drivers have a noticeable enough fall-off in highs VS listening position if I'm moving around that I'd prefer them with XO's and tweeters if box space allows. If you'll be moving around the kitchen or sometimes listening from off-axis, I think XO+tweeter is worth it.

That said, if you're okay with a 3.5" woofer and tweeter, you might also want to add the 4inch TCP115-8 to your list of woofer options...if they ever come back in stock. They reach almost as deep from the same tiny space, but cost about half as much.
