I have played around with car audio coaxials (Late 1980's JBL Studio Monitor 2 ways for car audio I have been dragging around since then) recently sitting in a small vented cabinet crossed over to a 12" paper woofer (Radio Shack) in a 1.6 Cu Ft cabinet and found them to be very inspiring with a little EQ applied.
The point source nature and timing/depth of sound stage has me in its grip.
The frequency response leaves a little to be desired but I want to continue experimenting with them.
I find the availability of home hifi coaxials lacking in the marketplace and think that a MT cabinet with some better drivers once separated from one another and utilizing some DSP XO's can yield a good setup.
The QTS is probably kinda high so what sort of small cabinet would be best for them?
Thoughts?
(you know I am going to do this regardless).

The 12" woofer is crossed to the Coaxial with a PE XO at around 150 Hz.
