  • Alpair 10 Gen 2...What To Do??

I just received a brand new pair of Alpair 10 Gen 2 speakers. Not sure what to do with them....Open Baffle?...T-Line....Use in 2Way? Anyone have any suggestions?

    Here are the specs:

I would take them each carefully out of their shipping boxes, slip them slowly & and softly out of their lace like plastic sleeves and place them on a table in front of me with the lights turned down low and open a bottle of red wine to begin . . .

With my laptop and mouse to one side, unobtrusively, I would gingerly and lovingly navigate the laptop contained browser to http://frugal-phile.com/index.html and stroking the scroll wheel on the mouse with a deliberately downward slow motion and finally landing upon the left side yummy menu of possible delights and flick the left side of the button to stimulate the link which directs to http://frugal-phile.com/boxlib/marka...ons-160616.pdf

Next, I would pour a small amount of red wine into a glass then raise it to my nose and inhale its arousing aroma slowly and deeply as I beheld the beauty before my eyes while allowing my imagination to run wild with the possibilities of pleasure that could await me . . .

As a man I cannot help you further - this is your time to use your imagination and live like you want to - it is yours for the taking.

Depending on your listening level, you may not get much deep bass out of those without reaching Xmax. In that case you'd need a subwoofer or woofer. If you only listen softly though, I'd say a TL enclosure to get the most out of them. They do start to beam at high frequencies (physics is a bitch) but if you sit on-axis that may not be an issue.

BTW, you may need to push down that broad peak at 12kHz unless you listen off-axis. On-axis that will be painful
