It's a smidge too smooth for Duratex unless they thinned it. I think Bill is right about how ATC got that finish.

Rustoleum has several texture paints in spray cans. You could give a light coat of one of the splatter paints which will give you the little squiggles, then hit it with a semi gloss or flat black spray bomb.

Curious how this finish is achieved.
Hi guys, been flip flopping on how to finish my Amigas, one option I've considered is paint but I'm looking for a specific texture and wondering how it's achieved. Veneer is an option as well, but I figured the paint might end up being a little cheaper, but I also figure this finish can only be achieved with a nice paint gun.
You can see the finish on these ATC speakers.
Almost looks like a flat coat first, then a spatter on top of it.Tags: None
