That's pretty impressive to a table saw/plunge router guy like me.

One question, do you have the components in hand to double check the cutout dimensions? They can vary from the spec drawings.

Yes I do have all the drivers for these. I will double check the diameters before cutting the mounting holes for them.

I don't mean this as a criticism in any way, but if I had access to a CNC machine, I'd probably do a lot fancier bracing. Like a matrix/honeycomb kinda thing. Cutting all those holes by hand would be a nightmare, but if I could just tell the machine to do it and walk away, I'd probably go nuts with the windowpanes and holes.

Got the midrange rear enclosures made and started cutting out pieces of the boxes today.

# braces. Are you happy with that plywood? Is it lighter than MDF?

Yep. I like the panels.
It's leftover from table top material we used at work several years ago. There's a layer of Formica-ish material on the other side. I figured it would add some strength and rigidity and form good inside corners to caulk to.

Is that good or bad ? It's hard to tell by reading it.

It feels a little lighter than 3/4" MDF. I think it has 11 layers ( I'll check tomorrow ), so I figured I may as well use it instead of having to buy something. The edges are also sturdier than MDF -meaning they don't damage as easily.
The plywood face is good enough for a nice stain or paint pretty muck as is.
