Hoping you'll take them outside in the sun for beauty shots. They look very dark on my monitor. I trust they look very nice.

Yeah, the shot of the speakers was actually a freeze frame from video. I'm doing more video these days than pics. I'll get some good ones.
I plan to make a video of the build so there will be more footage hopefully of how the veneer looks in light. They did really get dark.

Took a few shots in the sunlight outside today now that they're finished up.
I hope to have a video done in a week or so.

Beautiful! I know the veneer darkened a lot with the clearcoat, but in the sunlight you can really see how pretty the grain is.Isn't it about time we started answering rhetorical questions?

Thanks guys.
I find it hilarious that any of those 'lawn' pictures even came out. I couldn't see a thing on my iPod screen to even know how they would look. My method: take a boatload of pics and hope one or two of them doesn't have my thumb in it and actually looks half-decent.
DJG: my other hobby, cutting the grass.
My friend at work and her husband like them a lot. Thanks Mr. Carmody!

I have the video for these finished and uploaded if anyone is interested.
I didn't cover the grill in this video... That's a tiny bit involved and will get it's own video.
Also, it's 17 minutes long... maybe get a snack ready before you click on it.

Thanks for posting it - you should be proud/pleased with yourself - you earned it.
Although I try hard, it's clear to me that I'm no YouTuber... I may do a video every once in awhile -- like this one was 5 months since the previous one -- but I just don't have what it takes internally to do this consistently any more. It was VERY hard to finish this one.
Thanks again for the kind words... that's encouraging!
