    Yes, this is about as good as it gets for a tube (or any) amp. For tube amps especially, strive for avoiding wild impedance swings and keep phase swings within +/- 30 degrees or so.

    Post a schematic too. It is good in general to watch for design choices that may present unsavory loads outside of the 20-20k range, like a tank filter followed by a cap to ground, which can be a dead short at high frequencies.

    A tube amp would probably like a smooth phase response because of the typically higher output impedance could result in voltage swings. I suspect that a solid state amp benefits also, but the results are not as obvious.

    I was playing around in PCD trying to flatten a speaker impedance, and got a little carried away with it. Is there any advantage to a load like this for a tube, or even for a SS amp?
