Are they in stock? High minimums are usually seen on out of stock items, not in stock. I suspect the high numbers are the minimum order that PE must place with the manufacturer.Comment

I hope that is the case. I believe it said there was 1 in stock. I looked everywhere and most places said unavailable or out stock. Some had the same thing saying order 1000.Comment

Rumor has it that Peerless is pulling out of the DIY market. The corundum tweeters have been out of stock for a while. I'd check eBay and post a "want to buy" ad in the classifieds here and at diyaudio.Comment

I searched high and low for these tweeters as well. I even emailed PE to double check to see if their inventory of only having 1 left was somehow not accurate hoping maybe they had 2...no luck. I've given up on Peerless on this tweeter and other drivers like their HDS Nomex line. I'd say this rumor has some truth. And I'm not paying 4 times the price from another country. For that kind of $ you may as well buy high end drivers like Scanspeak, Sarori, etc.Comment

Well apparently it IS a high end tweeter. Maybe not the prestige of the boutiques like Accuton and Scan, but JonMarsh over at HT guide rates them highly.
I never bothered to buy them since the faceplate is non-standard sized.
we have stock in Australia because we are often the last to get them, so the last to run out of stock, I think.Comment
