AE Speakers AV Series Returns

It looks like things might finally be getting back to where they used to be at AE Speakers, since the AV series has finally resurfaced. I've used an AV12 as my main sub driver, though mine is one of the originals that were built by TC Sounds way back in the day. John's second in-house-built version (I guess this is MkIV?) bumps up the voice coil size and the power handling, and the magnet structure looks a lot beefier, too. Just a thought for those of you who've lusted after the AudioPulse woofers but have been put off by their price tag.

Did you see the new TD6.5M midbass? NICE! I don't know about the $199 cost though. I think it could do a mighty-2-way....

You know I'm thinking "ribbon" for these! 6.5" 2-way with 90-91dB sensitivity after BSC, and maybe response to 60 Hz!? I'd think that would be fantastic. I'd appreciate the info you'd have to offer.
