  • "InDIYana 2009"; Final pre-thread, 9 days to go....

I just thought I'd reiterate on a few points since we are very close to the event now.

If you need info on the event, you can go here for the website:

    http://sites.google.com/site/indiyana2009/

-here for the main thread on the topic:

    http://techtalk.parts-express.com/sh...light=indiyana

-here for directions, or reference the google-map on the website:

    http://techtalk.parts-express.com/sh...1557567&page=2

    Now that these are restated, I have to make a few points to follow;

The Comfort Suites has a *no-party-policy*, which means that nothing alcoholic is allowed. Period, no exceptions. I will not jeopardize someone else's fun at the event if an attendee has snuck in beer or such. So, for fear of being shut-down due to said cause, I will ask the offending person or persons to leave if this occurs. I don't want to be the bad-guy here, so please refrain from partaking of this on the premises. Thank you.

If you wish to bring some pop (Indiana thing, sorry) in a small cooler that is your call, but water and coffee are provided. I know I will have *me* some Code-Red present, as I might need it....:D

I have reserved a section of Ryan's buffet for our lunch gathering, they should be able to accomodate our sizeable group, so all are welcome from 12-1 pm as scheduled. For the Friday-night MnG, I cannot reserve a table or such at Applebee's, so we will call ahead with the number of people going to give them a heads up. We don't want another "Tom Katz" snubbery....

On the gear, the sub-out is not matrixed from the L/R, so we will have speaker-wire or RCA stereo-patches available for those with subs.

We will not have a table set aside for selling of items in case someone wants a trade or such, but feel free to have them around if you're looking to sell something. Just hopefully not from a white-van.....;)

I don't think there is much else that needs stating before we comence in 9 days, so we will see you all there!
    Later,

If it makes sound, bring it!

Lets all save the beer for break time! (Well not all, just those of us who enjoy a quality pint.) BTW: Ryan's doesn't serve...

        Giddy! Looking forward to it.

I'll be rolling into town late Friday afternoon. Depending on when he gets back to the US shores, I might have another builder with me. He's a merchant marine and his arrival will be cutting it close (I may literally be picking him up from O'Hare in the way through).

Expect me for certain for the Applebeing!

What is going on in Indiana? No beverages at the Inn, the restaurants don' serve. What's a drunk to do?

If you stay at the inn they will let you have drinks outside of the conference room, as always.

I for one am planning on enjoying a Brewtus over at Applebee's Friday night. We may even be able to enjoy a beer somehow at lunch time.

Don't worry I am planning to bring a little pair of 5" two-ways, who sound downright intoxicating all on their own.

Not sure what you mean by that. Is that a joke? I was under the impression that it was for the whole hotel.

Okie-dokie! Like before, just meet at the hotel, and we'll see what number is in attendance before we go. I have the room from 5-9pm Friday, and I'll be "lobbying" before that opens. See you there!

I had expressed an interest in attending. Family commitments that weekend will prevent me from making the trip. Y'all have fun anyway!
