  • need help,

I bought a Dayton SUB-120 HT Series 12" 150 Watt Powered Subwoofer about eight months ago, and its been working fine for awhile now. I went away for vacation for about a month in july, and when i came back it just wouldnt turn on anymore. I'm pretty sure no one touched it during that time, would anybody have any idea what the problem might be?

The subwoofer is still under warranty, but it would be really annoying having to ship something so heavy back. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    Re: need help,

No lights at all? Is it plugged into a power strip? Did you check that the outlet/power strip is working?

Try unplugging and plugging it back in, then turn it on?

Did you try calling customer service?

        Re: need help,

Other things to check might be the circuit breaker or the ground fault interrupter on the outlet. If you can confirm that it is getting power then maybe there is no signal comming from the source; disconnect the audio audio cable from the source while keeping it connected to the sub and touch the center conductor of the cable's RCA plug with your finger. You should hear 60Hz hum comming out of the sub.

If you can provide more details I am sure the guys here can help you sort this out.
