Re: A load of interesting designs!! (expensive!!)
Some of those are real speakers that I recognize and some of the pictures are pretty decent but a lot of the ones at the top of the list are poor 3d renderings or what appear to be photoshops, and some of them have such bad jpeg compression that it could go either way, or maybe they're real, who knows.
Most of them are just weird looking and you can't even tell what they are. Some of them are pretty neat tho.

Most mega-buck speakers throw common sense and solid design practices out the window, best to relate to them as audio art. I have always admired what KEF did with the Muon, not even close to the best sounding speakers I have heard but you want to rub up against them and get naughty.

I like some of the "time alignment" designs... especially the JMLabs. But the prices are sickening.
I like the fact that seeing some of these designs gives one ideas about making something similar, while getting to put your own (DIY) preferences in the mix... and see what it might look like/or similar.

Re: A load of interesting designs!! (expensive!!)
I have long loved the look of the Lansche speakers, but mainly the "No. 4.1". It's another speaker that I like the look of enough to semi-clone it. For that matter, it's only the second commercial offering I've liked the look of that much.
I mean- similar looking drivers (or maybe not, those are kinda plain), and a similar style cabinet. It looks like they use a Triangle 6" for the midranges, which are manufactured by Triangle.
Since the very beginning, triangle has made technological research and innovation its principal priorities to build High End Hifi Speakers.
Zalytron used to sell the Triangle midrange as seen, or at least an ancestor of the current model. I think the W5-704D looks like the Triangle, but I've already used it. I would have to find something else. (Too bad I can't actually use a plasma tweeter and degrade my health.) I think a violet LED in a waveguide would look neato for aesthetics.
Maybe in the distant future...

They did have a unique sound, I wonder how the heck they get away with selling theirs for use in-home without getting sued?
