      Got the baffle and bottom painted. I am going to let the paint dry for a week or so before handling it for the veneering. This is my first time veneering, I hope I don't screw it up.

      I see a lot of people referring to hot iron gluing with veneer. I have some paperbacked Maple, and was planning on using cement. Is the iron-on method better?

        Nice looking job on the x-overs! Good idea on mirroring them, too. You must be real confident in the speaker fit. I'll paint inside my cut-outs to be safe...

            1 coat primer
            sand
            2 coats primer
            sand
            sand
            sand
            4 coats Rustoleum Flat black spray. I am surprised at how even the coat came out myself

                  That looks professional. I may have to take back the satin black I bought for my TriTrix build. Beautiful job. Did you use the Rustoleum Ultracover 2X flat from HD?

                    The inductor you've got standing on end technically should be rotated 90 degrees... maybe not a big deal though.

                      I disagree. That would line it's magnetic field parallel to the iron core's field so there would be some mutual inductance.
