If they're anodized black, why would anyone care if they're aluminum or brass?

I'd say whichever's cheaper, then pass along the savings! ;)

Unless of course there's some sonic difference I'm missing...

It is one of my favs to look at, and if you use it as a midrange, it is very nice.

And since I just said that I really liked the look of the copper phase plug in the CSS125FR, I'll have to vote brass over AL.

being serious now..

yes.. I do like the look of a copper phase plug with a black cone/frame. its sorta classy.

not too keen on plain aluminium.

I too would rather pay a couple extra bucks for a copper colored plug over the other two... but thats just me :rolleyes:

This thread is hilarious. PE asks a simple question that has only two possible choices. Brass or alum and they get:
1. Green
2. Copper
3. Whats the difference if it gets anodized black?

My choice is light black if it is not too black, otherwise a medium black tending to antique black.
