Re: New Speaker Build, PICs
Thanks guys,
I'm not sure what kind of finish to do on these other than a gloss gray (base of Flames), what more might be done will be up to my 39 year old son (he will shot me for telling his age).
The 1372 TB tweeter is very easy to work with and has great range and a nice clean sound, other than its cost not sure why its not used more. It can be crossed as low as 950hz and still sound good. And the W4-657 is a very good Mid, one of the best I've worked with, shame PE does not sell it anymore.

Cool, I also have a set of those TB mids I used on my computer monitors. I picked them up from PE a few years ago, open box.

Re: New Speaker Build, PICs
No grills, Yes they have a 5 degree slant, and No side tweeters (only could find 3 mids/tweeters), these are side surrounds and will hang on the walls (8.5' up) on each side of my son's HT room, 3rd hangs on the back wall, it does not have a slanted baffle.

New Speaker Build, PICs
I'm just finishing voicing these Surround speakers, which are for my son to finish out his 6.1 system (sub, LRC done).
These are named FCTSS and use all TB drivers (same as in the Flames). There are 3 speakers but Pics only show 2.
These speakers sound really nice, very clear & detailed highs, a surprising bass. They are only tuned to 100hz (small cut on his receiver), but produce much lower bass with big woofer sound. Too bad PE stopped selling this TB 4", it has a very nice full range sound.
Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.
