Thanks Jclin. I was wondering, can I port out the front or side? I was hoping to put these on wall mounts.

If not, is sealed a viable solution?

        There's also my 'Antigens':

Shawn had his 'YAM-V' with the AC ribbon.

That's all I can think of right now.
Roman's 'Microbe' is pretty much the standard referred design for the RS125S-8.

Thanks Wolf. I was skipping through all your designs but must have missed that one....

Probably can be done. To make room for the port on the front, you may need to elongate the baffle to fit it in. But try not to change the baffle width or internal volume much, if at all.

I would not go with sealed. Roman did a great job getting good bass extension from the RS125. You would lose that if you went sealed.

These would end up being the mains in an HT setup with a subwoofer, so in reading his description I came across this -

"At their price the Microbes are the best value of all of the designs in my projects section because they sound so good. If you want to make them fill out the entire spectrum then add a Cerberus subwoofer for about $100. Just plug the ports in the Microbes and the Cerberus sub fills in the bottom end very nicely."

I took the plugging of the port as being the same as sealed.

If you plan to use a sub, no issues.

Yes that's correct. And a sealed speaker will have less phase contortions as it rolls off on the low end, likely making easier to matchup well with a subwoofer...

No problem porting out the side, top or bottom on a box that small. Just try to keep some distance from the port to the back of the woofer.
