    some nice skills... and a LOT of patience. so organized and methodical. what an ungodly cool diy project. and the videos themselves are pretty sweet too.

    on a side note, you think that guy likes buying tools at home depot? ha ha ha.

        Pretty cool - except for maybe the part where he shoots sparks all over the hard drives

        Is there a Center Channel version?

          If you watch the whole video the hard drives he uses for the designing stages aren't the new ones. I think it's safe to assume they're paperweights. He pulls out the new ones and installs them after he finishes the construction.

          However, I didn't like the way he just threw that motherboard on the table like a slab of meat.

            if you've got time, check out the behind the scenes time lapse too. i can't believe he does the entire video all by himself. i just assumed he had at least one cameraman. looks like he spends more time on the videography than he does on the actual build. needless to say, this guy is certainly one multifaceted individual.
