I love their customer service, but I just wish I didn't have to rely on it every time I place an order.

And here's a picture of a completed 6-element crossover. I didn't connect the power or driver leads yet, but the layout picture shows you where to attach them (ignore the scribbles). My plan was to run the wires under the board, then zip-tie them to the boards through the holes, then run the wire ends around the edges and solder them to the connection points.
Thanks! We posted at the same time.

and may be I should try just carpet padding all the way around and maybe play around with adding and or subtracting different amounts of poly fill behind the drivers I also have plenty of regular fiberglass insulation. Another option may be some carpet or I could break down and get some thinner egg crate foam from a fabric store.

I want to try to figure this out because as soon as I glue the cabinet together I am not going to be able to do much through the 3 5/8" woofer opening.

      Any suggestions?

My wife is going to pick up some 1" thick polyfill at a fabric store for me today.

      No fill. Just lining.

        Thanks Chris.

My wife picked up some 1" thick poly fill sheeting stuff that I will put in and then glue the front on.

I did a little listening to them with the front just taped on and the wires running out the binding post holes. They really are not set up right but the imaging is almost haunting and they are pretty impressive for such a small speaker.

Thanks for your design work and relentless source of answers for all my questions.

The dimensions are 7 3/4h x 6 1/2d x 34w. You could probably fit it into a 6 1/4 high box if the tweeter was right near the edge. That would give the woofers pretty much as much room to breathe as the box with a 6 inch wide baffle. I did not cut the tweet hole quite far away enough for the woofs and had to make a small flat spot on the flange to seat it. Wpps! On a side note I received all my first order to make a wwtww for main speakers......there will be another order when I figure out a crossover....

Some Progress. Not the best lighting for the photos there was no natural light left when i stopped to take them. I am liking the flat black though.

Still have to flip them to get the bottom of the cabinet and then do another full coat of paint.

              Very nice!

Where are you mounting the crossovers? Do you have a way to get to them if need be?

From an earlier post in the thread. I mounted them just like Chris had it laid out in his plans. Mounted to the cabinet brace with two small screws. Should be able to get them out with a stubby if I had to. Thanks for the comment! http://techtalk.parts-express.com/at...2&d=1297061350

Below a picture of my Nano Neos playing in temporary mode to make sure everything worked and it did.

I took them apart and installed 1" poly fill sheet on the interior walls, glued the front baffle on and the rounded over all the corners except the top back and bottom back with my router. Sanded everything up and did the bondo routine and the followed up with 3 coats of 50/50 water and titebond II.

Next primer and then a color decision.

You're the third person (including me) to report this. I'm amazed that they've made this error so many times. The two bins in their warehouse must be all mixed up.

Anyways, just call up PE customer service and they'll send you a new 10uF cap. I definitely wouldn't use the 8uF one.

                        Nice, those went quick.

                        How do they sound?

                          Drew_V,

They sound pretty good, and much bigger than they have any right to sound. The little woofer is pretty impressive for what it is.

They image really well and from my limited time with them seem to be able to pull off a disappearing act at least with my gear. They do seem to need a lot of juice to get to my normal listening levels. They are not nearly as efficient as my daily drivers.

I can't wait to get some color on my cabinets and get them back together so I can listen to them again.

Finally got mine finished more or less.

I was going to paint the bolt heads black to blend in but actually kind of like it with the silver as an accent.
