this is a needle with a b3n. baffle is 3/4" pine, stained to match some of my parents' furniture. sides are black using rustoleum epoxy spraypaint.

Those look great! Thank you for sharing. I also plan on doing a black sprayed on back and sides, though I am going to use a countertop laminate for the front. If I did not have the laminate available (leftover scrap, so a freebie) I would have loved to do a stained veneer on the front.
