  • More Tips!....

Paul gave me the gumption to do a minute-detail edition of WHY some things are done in PCD, and HOW they are setup in the simulation. Some of you have probably read/done Jeff's Tutorial for PCD, and this may not be of use to you. However, if you still just don't get it (), here is another person's view of the process.

Volume 3, Section A deals with my "MAX" as an example of a complex Parallel Xover network, to really dig into how some things can be setup to the Nth degree in the spreadsheet Jeff so kindly gives us all for free.

Section B will characterize what a Series Xover does, and how it's setup in contradiction. Canvas will be the example there. I will be writing that one momentarily....

Hope this is informative, and you are welcome to ask questions!

        Wolf,
Awesome as always buddy. Per our discussion moon lighting in chat the other night, I never thought to use a "9999" in spaced to basically customize components. This really opens a new world of potential in PCD for me. Thank you!!!!!

                  Re: More Tips!....

Good work. The Series XO guide is very good, probably the most intuitive guide I've ever read on the subject--literally. I like how you "see" the filter as if you were an electrical signal passing through it. Great stuff.
Isn't it about time we started answering rhetorical questions?

                    Re: More Tips!....

FWIW- you can do that with a parallel xover too. The visualization of what actually happens applied in both cases.

Glad you like the SXO guide, now when are you doing one?? :D
It would definitely make Andy happy!!!
