Lookin very good. What are you doing the sides in? Hardboard?

I've considered doing something like this but the sides in fiberglass just to see what its like, make something light and try glass for the first time...

Same as last time; 3 layers of 3mm Birch plywood. Worked so well last time, figured there's no reason to change things up. Though I did consider trying a dozen or so layers of heavy cardboard.. might have to try that on the side; see how it works.

Did you consider making a template and using a guide bushing to cut those curvy parts? It seems like it would have been a little easier that way, you'd only have to make one part with any degree of precision the rest would be pretty straight forward copies. I'd have at least tried it, I probably would have failed, but I'd have tried.

I'll graduate to that point.. some time. Been eyeballing bushing sets every since I got the Craftsmen router. Sure would have been handy this time around no doubt! ...but.. as little as I would use it.. I always shrug it off.

Bushing sets? You mean a basic flush trim bit? You can get those pretty reasonably at mlcswoodworking.com or even Home Depot. Or are you guys talking about something else?

I guess either an over sized pattern with a bushing or a pattern bit would be equally effective.. I think we're on the same page. I'm just a glutton for punishment!:D

Geez, that looks good! Might as well be next to ad copy for some boutique brand ("...our cabinets are crafted to the highest standards, and their rigidity is unparalleled ...")

Over the last couple of weeks I managed to get these things wrapped. This weekend I'll be flush trimming edges and cutting out the baffle location.

The ol' door knock test on the sides gives a nice solid "tink", and a sore knuckle. These things are hefty. (sweet.)
