  • AviaTrix MT:

Wayne did his usual smashing job on the .25 cu ft cabs, using some 'leftover' hardwood for materials. He designed them with an eye for on wall surround duties, but I suspect they will find other uses as well.

    Yes, they are sealed...
No, I don't have the crossover designed yet...
Just a pic for now, more details to come...

very nice, indeed. been anticipating a tm "surround" version ever since the sealed l/c/r intended mtm's were made official. with the shielded reference drivers being a thing of the past now, i'd say these are more important than ever. many thanks to curt and wayne.

Any idea if or when these will become a PE kit offering?

Sides are Walnut, top/bottom, front and back are Hickory. This was all that was left from the AviaTrix MTM TL's. I thought it would be cool to "frame" the walnut with the Hickory. As it is, the hickory is very hard and dense. It makes for an extremely ridgid cabinet.

i wonder if these drivers would fit in a box made for the overnite sensations?
