    You think? Check scale . . . mine's on a 5dB/div, yours is on 10dB . . . ;)

Same here, on the Byzantium baffle.

You can be sure that I'll be using those Discovery mids in a future endeavor. :D

I've got no problem with foam surround as long as it withstands the test of time. Visual appearance is another thing of course. This driver, even with the foam surround looks pretty damn sexy. I haven't seen it in person, but it looks like they've color matched the foam to the cone pretty good.

Everybody else saw: "foam surround" and decided to pass, I saw "foam surround" and I thought to myself: "ah, this driver is going to be good...".

Ha ha Pete, mine's flatter and only cost 1/3 as much :D Mind you, I would like to try some of those Scan-Speak slit paper cone drivers someday...

I cut out below 200Hz because the floor bounce cancellation was naaaasty. I should try measuring from an extension off my 2nd floor outdoor porch maybe. The inductor corrects for a slight rising high end, but no "BSC" in the traditional sense. That measurement is taken with the driver on my enclosure, not on a test baffle ;)

If that isn't a drool worthy driver, I don't know what is. All that for only $62 each, this is one of the best looking midrange divers I've seen. This one and the 10F as well. This 15M claims to be 2.5dB more sensitive than the 10F though, which can be very advantageous for anyone wanting a real "loud"-speaker.

I decided to measure a driver I'd had sitting on my shelf for a while...

    Scan-Speak 15M/4624G

here's the FR taken from about 1 foot with a inductor + cap low pass filter.
