    Re: Before I screw up....

I precisely lay out the reliefs with a very sharp pencil. Then I carefully remove the bulk of the material with a cheapo Craftsman jig saw. Then I clean up to the lines with this square file:

I finished painting the LECBOS. Tried something different this time. Since they are going to be my new G-dogs (garage speakers) I painted them with latex and a hi knap roller. The paint was left over from a bathroom remodel I did last year.

The color is called sandstone. Whatda ya think?

Close up to show the heavy texture I got with the knappy roller. Two heavy coats... no seams showing :D

I like how the port radius turned out.

Actually had a chance to work on the LECBOS again. Crossovers are almost done!

Looking Good! The wife used the same color somewhere in the livingroom. I'm rarely there. :D

I meant that the routing of the interior braces may give PWR RYD a warm and fuzzy feeling but it sure makes the rest of us look lazy . The fact that his workshop is clean is just added insult to us lazy pigs.
In other words it is a compliment to his fine work and immaculate shop using sarcasm.

                        Crossovers are in the boxes:

Now I just need to spray mount some sound dampening to the walls, lightly stuff, then mount the drivers! Can't wait to hear them!!!

Speaking of sound dampening (I know this has been probably covered a thousand times) has anyone tried this stuff?

It's a 2' x 4' acoustic drop ceiling tile. The funky thin white plastic part easily peals off leaving a really nice dense 1" thick fiberglass mat. Best part is... I found these at Manard's (local big box home improvement store) and they had slightly damaged corners, so the manager said "how about a buck a piece?" Oh yeah :D
