Re: Gettin' time to plan InDIYana 2011!!!

When I get confirmation of the date/venue, I'll hail a roll-call in this thread to keep everything here. I can always go back through and keep those interested penciled in as 'maybes', even if I don't get an actual expected count.
Glad you'll make it! I did wonder where you went last year.

Ok, I've said this before, and it didn't work out, but I am (tentatively) in!

If I can figure out a way to get them on the plane, I'll bring the Deullatis.

Hope to see you all there!

If you are in fort Wayne, I am in for sure. My in laws live there, so I can make the road trip from MI. Unlikely I will have anything to bring (too many projects, not enough time), but am really looking forward to being there as it is my first time.

I've been waiting since last year. Hopefully I'll have a project ready this time.

Pencil me in Wolf, and let me know if you need help with anything.

If you (or anyone for that matter) have some web-space, we'll need a website.

Are we wanting a few sponsors for door prizes? I'm not going all out like in 2009, but I can see what we can do.

Thanks for all the interest, guys!

                    Update: InDIYana 2011!!! ROLL-CALL!!

Shawn says 2 days, Friday and Saturday both all day.

Same venue "Hyatt Place" is available for the April 29/30, 2011 days, so mark your calendars!!! I hope to book it soon.

Gear seems to coming out my ears, so we should be good to go there.
If someone has some shorter/taller stands than I do (22"), you are welcome to bring them along.

I have not discussed the music itinerary with Shawn yet, but will do so. I'm still thinking the 5'/5' will appease most people.

I will be sending out a mass e-mail for the semi-local contacts I have in my addressbook. This way they will have the most up to date details.

If we don't have a website, we don't have sponsors/prizes- no half-way or whatever -it's either/or. This is the incentive for sponsors to get a link to their products, as well as get their items some public exposure. So- who wants to do this?

And- I need a tentative head-count. Please post if you are coming and what you may bring under this section of this thread. This will also allow me to see how much of the space will be required. We had quite a few people and entries last year, an if it increases, we might just rent the entire room.

                    So-
Wolf- '&roids', 'Microtonnes' (if), 'Glucinium Amor' MTM (if), 'Attitudes' (if there is enough interest in another cap-test edition)

                    Thanks,
                    Wolf

Bringing Metropolis 3 ways and Sennheiser HD-800 headphones. Help me pick a headphone amp - if you have a nice DIY one (Wolf) or one you like, bring it in! May do this Friday so it doesn't bog down the speaks.

I plan on attending but extremely unlikely I will be bringing any speakers. Will probably not show up until afternoon on Friday.

Count me in. ANYONE WANT TO RIDE/ROOM SHARE FROM WNY? This looks like a Thurs-Sun trip.

If you feel attendance will support renting the entire room, consider keeping one end closed off Friday.

Consider scheduling test/demo time for those interested.

I'll bring 2 pair of speakers, one of which I'd use for a damping demo Friday.

                              Have fun,
                              Frank
