Dave, I recently upgraded computers and forgot to copy over my bookmarks. Can you direct me to your web site (I searched the thread and didn't find it).

I got an email from Dave a few days ago stating he wasn't doing CNC speaker work anymore.

I hope that's not true, because his work looks great. And those last cabinets pictured in this thread were really sharp looking. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the work.

It's true guys. I just don't have the time to do it anymore. I may continue to do some work on a limited basis, but it really just depends on my schedule. If you really need some work done send me a PM an I'll see what I can do.

Dave, I hope you're using that machine to do some other really nice work!

I found a small company in Kentucky that promises to cut some flat packs quicker than the current company I found, and still keep pricing the same.

The problem is that I don't know CAD work, so it will likely take a decent amount of time to have them enter all the designs in.

If you have a bunch already made up, I bet we could set up some type of donation thing where you get paid for all those designs you already have! Might be a great idea. It would certainly help speed things up for the DIY guys around here that's for sure.

Or I'd consider paying up front, and just add a little to each flat pack to eventually cover that cost. I don't think forum members would mind at all.

Actually, I guess the CNC company adds design time into their price. So it would make more sense to give the money to you, versus the CNC company. Plus it might be faster, and not really change the price if they don't have to do it.

That would be great for all the DIY guys. Let me know what you think about the idea. It's pretty obvious that your CAD work is top notch.

Find a material that doesn't mind getting wet, and I can do it.
