Re: Cabinet / Baffle CNC Service
Thanks for offering your services and at very nice prices, but I bet you are going to get swamped with orders soon.
I think having access to a CNC could open up a lot of possibilites, but I'm interested a little more in templates and not actual enclosures. I still have fun building cabinets, but could use some templates for trying to create curved cabinets.
Curious if you by chance can cut something other than mdf? Maybe a hardwood that might hold up as a template a little better than mdf. I'm assuming you have pretty decent CAD skills to input those models to cut so creating a curved template would be pretty easy?

Re: Cabinet / Baffle CNC Service
Something I'm getting ready to cut in the next couple of weeks for myself. It's a ported enclosure for an RSS390HF-4 and a Bash 500w plate amp. Interior volume is in the neighborhood 5.5cu.ft. The port is 5" PVC approximately 30" long.
The rear shows a 3" thick stack of MDF that is machined into a port flare. I'll post actual pictures and a video once it's finished.

I hope my post didn't come across the wrong way.
It's very kind of him to be offering for such low prices, a great thing for the DIY community.

Re: Cabinet / Baffle CNC Service
The baffles would be $33 for the pair. Approximate weight is 9lbs each.
It would probably be best to leave them slightly over sized (1/16") so you can route them flush to the top and sides of your cabinet.

I know I can't compete with a cnc machine, but even so that's just giving them away.

It sure kills my endeavor.

A while back I had a cnc shop quote a pair of baffles (just the baffles!) and it was nearly $200

How about the Nano Neo?
The approximate weight would be 13lbs each. That is just a rough guess based on the density of MDF and the size of the panels.
The OS MTM's would be ~14lbs each
The OS's would be ~7-8bs each
The ZA5.2's would be ~12lbs each

Re: Cabinet / Baffle CNC Service
Dave I'm just a stones throw from you in Canton, let me know if you need any help anytime, I'm good affordable labor.I may also require your services for some of my projects in the future. Would you mind messaging me your phone number to put in my rolodex? Nice to find someone locally with a CNC router table. I'm set on building my own in the next year or two.
