Well,

My listening experiences are the same as yours as I have not built them yet. I am in the middle of a basement remodel so speaker building is secondary. But, one of the basement rooms is a theater/listening room:D:D.

I would absolutely, 100%, trust Curt when he says there should be no differences worth noting.

FWIW, the 830869's are still listed on the Tymphany website, unlike the 830884's, but ???
