      $150 buys a 12" DVC Dayton driver and the SA100 plate amp.

      Good in 3cf with a 4"id vent.

            budget is about 150 and will be used for ht

                    ID = Inner Diameter. He means to use a round port. You can use PVC or PE has some available for sale.

                      4" inside diameter vent by 10" long. I use PVC pipe. 3 cu. ft. box. I like to put the driver and vent on one side, and the amp around the corner. Then, you can have the driver, port, and amp visible, or all hidden (if any kids are coming around).

                        Remember to throw some bracing in there.

                        3 cu ft is pretty big, it'll boom and resonate if the walls aren't tied together.
