The OmniMic system must be pretty good for you to sell your old setup. Looking forward to the review.

I just wish it had phase info in with the FRD files it put out.

        Ummmm..... it does.

Have the read through the User Guide? Click the "advanced functions" button under the response graph and then check the phase box. You will then see the phase line on your graph and phase data will be in your frd files. Very easy to use.

It works very nicely with my Win7 laptop, which makes my measurement system very portable, and very easy to use. The old system was set up on a desk top and I was limited on what I could do. It's also been quite a while since I had the other stuff hooked up and it was just sitting in a box, so I figured it was time to sell.

Don't get me wrong though - the Mightly Mike and the M-Audio Transit combine to give you an extremely good acoustical measurement system. It is not second rate by any means. And it can be used on a laptop too if someone wants to use it that way.

It works well with XP too.

I do not own omnimic, so I have no real reason to read a user guide. I had just read that on another thread. I just checked back and someone posted the instructions to measure phase after I gave up on the thread. This revelation has me very interested in this system.

                    Re: Coming soon....

ill admit that the phase can look a bit strange somtimes. i have been importing as is, and then extracting minimum phase as well. perhaps jeff will be of use in this aspect as well.
i look foward to your review, as well as some tips jeff.
