The medium and larger sizes were initially designed for the DE250 compression driver and tested extremely well.

There are a lot of interesting things I'm trying to get done that revolve around the SEOS design. The smaller sizes will eventually be available for regular dome tweeters as well. It just takes a little while, but I am spending a decent amount of time getting it done in the background.

Here's another idea I'm still working on. Pay no attention to the dimensions as they will be available for all different sizes once things get moving.

Hoping to have it all figured out by late fall. There will be flat packs made for them as well. This was the goal of Zilch and I from the very beginning so I REALLY want to make sure I get these completed as soon as possible.

Ok, great feedback. Thanks all. I think I'll have a go with the 8" Dayton. Now if I can just find it in Canada. Don't want to pay $20 shipping :o

          Oh that is so cool!

          I would think with a 12" SEOS waveguide you'd want a 10" woofer, though. (Assuming a 90deg WG; if it's 60deg then a 12 makes more sense.)

The SEOS tests better than the Gedde's OS so there's no need to go larger if it will handle the crossover point of it's matching woofer size. It's a 90/60 waveguide.

Re: Why aren't there more waveguide tweeters?

For anyone who has used the 8" dayton waveguid, once it's trimmed to say 1.5" diameter opening, how deep is the WG? Is the AC of the tweeter going to be very far behind the woofer?

Shipping 1 waveguide to Canada is $35 :( I'm not going to be in the US until Christmas likely. Don't wanna wait that long. So if anyone can sell me them with first class shipping, I'd appreciate it. Hoping to hear from Solen about them.

Any other waveguides I should consider?

3.3125" or 3 5/16" is the 1.5" diameter-exit depth position from the face of the Dayton round 8" waveguide. If you add back in the thickness of the material if a straight-through bore is used, it's about 3.5". If the cut is across the throat, then the 3 5/16" is the dimension of depth.
