Not sure about that particular design, but this could certainly fit in the category of an e-wave design, and with a 7" woofer, certainly a "mini."

I have a buddy that has a cnc router table. I'm not sure what software he is using to control it. If you cut these using a cnc router table, I was curious if you would be interested in sharing/selling the files needed so he could cut these for me on his router table. I just keep looking at that Peerless tweeter with no faceplate trying to figure out how to make it useful. Ever since I saw the waveguide on the miniByzantium project, I've been wondering about it's use with that tweeter.
It would most likely work with any tweeter. The problem with that Peerless is the 2000Hz Fs. Even with the WG, it's probably still only going to be useful to no lower than 2000Hz or so.

As for other baffles, the PE 1cf MTM cabinet is a possibility too. Baffle is just wide enough to fit the WG on.

Was actually planning on using sb29 with the Silverflute 8".

Will these have any sort of finish applied to them or will they be raw MDF?

I've got a pair of 8945A's in a .75 cu ft PE box that needs tweeters. If you'll design for the 8945A, I'll spot the tweeters for testing and buy a pair of WG baffles. We can still do that TB tweeter, or possibly the new one.

That would be great Pete if you could come up with a project using the 8948A in a .75ft3 box.

I already have the woofer and the boxes, so all I would need to purchase are the special baffles and the tweeter you choose(unless you choose the Seas H1212).

Hey Arlis. I would use Plum Creek MDF for the baffles, 1" thick. Its a better quality MDF than what I was using from the Depot or Lowes. When you put a router to it it actually puts off a good fruity smell! No kidding! But this stuff is harder and keeps a sharp edge when its routed or milled. Exceptional stuff. I also have some RS28s laying around, so I could put the anchor holes in the back of the W.G. if that's the T you want to use.

That sounds pretty delicious, but I'd have to dig through the couch for the $75. ;)

Seems fair. Would be nice to also see it available for the 1ft^3 cab.

So are there any designs worked out for this or will it be more of a project for the ones that design?
