I have a set of JBL Decade 26 speakers. Both tweeters are blown. I have looked for replacements and the best i could fine are rebuilds at 104 bucks per. I love em but wrestling with the cost part of it. I looked at all the tweeters and the only one that would fit in the square hole is the Pyle Pro PSN1165 4.35" Piezo Horn Tweeters. Would this be a good replacements or should i rebuild them or have them done.. Thanks Dennis.

Re: JBL Decade 26
The piezos would be a cheap but bad choice. Look for used replacements on eBay. Lots of overpriced or trashed drivers listed. Be willing to wait a few days or a couple of weeks until someone lists a nice pair at a reasonable price. FYI - the LE26 uses the same replacement cone kit as the LE25-x but usually sells for much less.

Don't use piezos, rebuild or replace."Not a Speaker Designer - Not even on the Internet"

Re: JBL Decade 26
Yea, that's the best move, keep looking for a decent pair on Ebay. It's funny to see the parallels of the vintage equipment and my own equipment. I had a Marantz 2252B Stereo Receiver Bic Turntable, Sansui SP-X6700's speakers, Pioneer CS-88 C's and a Akai 1730-D SS reel to reel. A Little ARS or Marshall Tucker Band. Just my preference. Thanks All!
