Work's been getting in the way. Some progress. Braces and ends are glued up, cab inside sealed. Hoping to finish the cleats for the front and back and get the other side of the cabs glued so I can put the inserts in the cleats. At that point, I'll probably put the XO's together. I haven't laid out the XOs and made full scale drawings yet.
I did decide to paint the cabs a dark warm brown. My test pieces indicated that color would make the natural walnut baffle really pop. I will probably put everything together for test sounds once the XOs are built and before cab finishing starts. I bought myself an inexpensive HVLP turbine unit as a test before I popped for a Fuji or similar and will want things to warm a bit for finishing anyway. It's been surprisingly cold here in North Texas.
The work project I'm currently on will require me to be out of town for a bit in Feb, so realistically it might be late Feb for sound. I work 10's so I'm pretty tired by the time I get home during the week. Don't like to do anything critical in the shop when I'm tired or in a hurry.
My wife's project may be wrapping up around the same time ;) I'll keep an eye on the boards and email to see how it's shaping up and to help out if you need to try out some tweaks for the crossovers.

Cabinet construction has completed. Starting the finishing process. It's been colder than usual in Texas so putting the actual finish on the cab and baffle may be impeded.
Decided to go with removable rear panel and to leave the front baffle "smooth" (prompted by a thought by Rotech).
Wonder of wonders, all 10 bolts on each cab line up with the threaded inserts.
I'll layout the XO and start building it next weekend, then test. After that will be up to the weather.
I'll add some more pics when the primer goes on / XO contruction starts.
It's been up and down in Granbury. One nice day, two cold days. I really want to finish the baffle w/ Waterlox, which needs >60 degrees and plenty of ventilation. So it will be slow. I've taken to storing the cabs and materials in the HT room so the temps are a bit warmer. Garage is air conditioned, but not heated.
Progress continues. Having a busier than usual 1st quarter at work.
Here's pics of the XO's for one speaker. I'm going to setup for bi-amping, even though I'm not likely to do so in practice. I originally though I might be able to get the mid/hi on one board, but no-go as you can see. Cabs are narrow so not a lot of room.
You can also see that I'm trying something different (for me anyway). No soldering, all mechanical connections. While my soldering skill is decent, this is much easier to put together.
I just used crimps on my Dad's LSS's (Johnny's design) mainly so he could fix them if he ever needed to and becuase it's alot quicker than the cheapo soldering iron I was using.

Give me a shout here or PM with what you're thinking after listening to them for a bit. I'm hanging out trying to get over a cold but I'm looking forward to hearing how they went or tweaking based on what you're hearing.
