I used an OEM, 16 ohm buyout version of this Vifa driver as the midrange in my Contrappeso's, 4 per side in parallel. They are indeed fine sounding and performing drivers, inexpensive and very easy to work with.

I thought they looked familiar. I saw (and heard) your Contrappeso's at InDIYana this year. The midrange in that design was clean and particularly well balanced, which at the time I attributed to your skill in extracting every bit of performance from a lousy buyout driver. Now I know it was really just a great driver to begin with.:D
