They had to hit a five year RoI, or it was a no-go. My current company demands a two year RoI on any cap-ex projects.

All of which makes me wonder what else they are building on this machine, or if Peerless has dumped a lot of eggs in one basket. $10M buys some serious hardware.
That figure came from Pers Skaaning. He mentioned that fashioning poly cones to that shape didn't take much of a machine (only 5 figures), but that for the wood pulp and fiber cones, the machines were in the range of $10M. They're suggesting $200+ per NE driver . . .

And the drivers they build right, are amazing.

Really unique cone design, and from what I understand, the machine to make that cone costs in the neighborhood of $10M.

    Me like too!!! :D

It's actually the Vifa NE225. The cone does look like the Satori. Really unique cone design, and from what I understand, the machine to make that cone costs in the neighborhood of $10M.

The tweeter is the Dayton Reference RS28F (or RS28A).

3-way floor stander sound in a stand mount 2-way.

I'll put the Aurora up against any of those listed. And I have the data to back up the claim. ;)
