Using almost all surplus XO parts for my Rat Rockers. Unfortunately, I'm having to add a lot of parts to get the required values. Wasn't expecting this....sometimes I wonder why I get myself into stuff like this. At least the weather has been cooperating, so I will shut my flapper now and stop complaining. ;)
I fear I must advise that I am better less 50% likely to attend. As much as I like it, the trip does consume 4 days and some hours for me. Too old to drive straight through twice in 4 days anymore after adding the non-stop activity...
Add to that recently increased demands at work... Nothing new to show - except the Malbecs for those who did not hear them at IA in2010.
All will depend on the circumstances on the Wednesday prior.
As the OP for this thread, it pains me. The good news is I will have something new for IA - and the IA folks have not heard the Continuum MLTL's either.
Wolf, I am going to be there and I have a friend coming along for the ride. He is into car audio and I'm trying to show him that audio is more than the size of your sub. ;)
Also I will be bringing a set of speakers; I'm just not sure if the new mltl boxes will be finished.
I have you down, Duane. You weren't in the maybe section, but thanks for the note on more than just you.

Dirk, and Chuck, you are two of the people that I was hoping to meet as well (along with my boy Ben, and quite a few others), and have been for a while now. I'll get there eventually....;)
I think there are maybe three of four people that will be disappointed to hear this (and I am once again bummed about not getting to shake a LOT of guys hands that I have been wanting to meet), but due to being unemployed for the past couple of months, and going to HVAC trade school, I officially will not be able to attend. :(
Well I am defintely one of those that will be disappointed that you won't be there. I was looking forward to meeting you in person. Good luck Mark and hope to see you next time!

Getting myself set up for the future though, so there's always next year....
Have fun, everybody!
Mark
OH WHAT IN THE CRAP, MAN.
Is it possible that you are my doppleganger? That we are not allowed to be in the same place at the same time?
Go ahead and bring it- as that will also be the layout again for this year....
Thing is- having the gear up front makes people have to walk in front of them while playing, and it's a nuisance. This also places an object between them for a not-very absorptive center.
Having it at the side, means you have to have long speaker cables and possibly trip over them.
The source-preamp on the left allows easy DJing of the songs, and the amp in the middle up front allows easy defeat for swapping projects. You only need one set of cables from preamp to amps in between that can be tucked out of the way, and the speaker cables can be shorter and easier to manage.
I like this method best. We'll be using Rory's Marantz and ML No. 38 once again, with Matt's pair of Crown Com-Tech 1600's. We will not want for power.
Connection is via non-dual bananas. Please bring adapters if you will need them.
Tracks are 5 minutes of the house disc and 5 minutes of your own stuff. If you have not any of your own stuff with you, the house disc is 10 minutes long, and we'll play the whole thing. (I'm still narrowing these tracks down...)
And yes- this is show 'n' tell, not a competition.
I'm pretty sure this is all laid out in the webpage text, just in case anyone missed it.
