I'm from Western MD, it's basically an 8 hour drive, but I reallly want to make it out. It's the 13-14? I may have a pair of towers I can bring too!

Amps would need to be 2ohm stable for mine. If they show. Van rental is a couple hundred bucks and my fridge died this morning so we'll have to wait and see. Can always bring out the Ansonica for another showing.

I have to check with Matt on the 2 ohm stability, but I think they are.

14x24x50 + spikes. They could lie on their sides, or on top of 2x4's on the back (would clear the speaker terminals). Plain cargo van from Ace was ~$205 for Friday > Sunday, that was just a quick check I did to get a handle on price range. I don't think I get a work discount on cars, I should check.

The real problem with any of these is getting them in/out of the vehicle. A van tends to be a little easier due to the lower floor.

It's sure to be a freak snowstorm too, or at least heavy downpour...

WOW those will make mine look small:p Ill find out monday how much it will coast for the rental. that will be the deciding factor. I have a tonneau cover so the elements shouldn't be an issue. I would really like to transport them standing up though thats why i'm looking int the van.

that could work out. my mom works for enterprise. She said I get a 50% family discount! I havent decided if I am going to rent a van or just use my truck. but either way I could stop over.

I was going to build a cradle for my speaks and lay them on their back. would this work for you? how big are your speakers?

I just might have to rent a white van... so I can bring the big speaks out to play for once. If I can verify I'll be around that weekend (work may put me in India for a few weeks or more...)

If I make it I can haul amps just as easily too... if desired.

I don't think the amps will be needed. Matt has a pair of Crown Com-Tech 1600 that are about 800W parallel-mono. I think the power is plenty.

Still- that would be a nice thing to get you out for another event.
