6.5" buyout sub and a Vifa BC25 tweeter in a 0.7 ft^3 ported box. No XO. Pushed in side handles make it a dual port design. I didn't extend the ports, so they are just 1.5x4" "slots" -- tuning is a bit high and the box is pretty leaky. There's a pretty huge suckout between 300Hz-1.5kHz and the bass is pretty thin, but what do you expect from a Huggies box??

Total cost for entire project = $32

    :p:p:p

    Two more wake-ups people!!!

And yes, I was just joking.
Just joking? I was looking forward to hearing those! I showed my wife the picture - she said you should win.

I'll have my 22" stands there, and Paul DeMond is bringing a taller pair, about 30" or so.

    Musical Fidelity V-DAC (1st Gen)
Mark Levinson No. 38 (balanced or unbalanced outs)
    Hafler 9270 (135w/ch @ 8ohms)
    Target Audio sand-loaded speaker stands

I'll have the Firestorms there with their final crossover version (not yet heard by an event audience). I may or may not have them in their final cabinets by then, but I prefer the original red ones anyhow. Any actual new stuff will probably have to wait for Dayton.

    See you all there.

I was wrong about bringing ribbons. Instead, Hans is bringing several pairs of Final electrostatic panels in 4', 5', and 6' heights.

Together we will have several surplus drivers for sale, probably not as much as last year.

Re: I know it is early, but.... InDIYana??

I've been asked this by a participant, so I just want to put the information out here:

    Marantz CD5004
    Stereophile review of CD5004
Musical Fidelity V-DAC II (I have the V-DAC, not the II)
    Stereophile review of V-DAC
Stereophile review of Mark Levinson No. 38 (no product page since Harman has discontinued support for Madrigal-made products)

The CD player supports redbook CDs and file CDs with MP3 and WMA files at the root level of the disc but will not support FLAC, AAC, ALAC, Ogg Vorbis, or anything else not listed here. I haven't worked with the file CD feature, since I don't really use it, so I don't know how well it works. My best advice is to burn CDs (which are NOT a dead format) or bring your own playback and cables; the Levinson pre will support multiple sources. I will have a stereo 3.5mm cable for iPods if you care to go that route for your own demo music.

I am bringing two new speaker sets - the CSS MTM kit named the Triton, and a new SB Satori two-way named the Kairos (I am working on this one right now).

I have also received the goodies from McJerry and will be bringing those along too, as well as a few drivers that I think it is time to sell.

    Jeff B.
We will be starting at 9am Saturday. If you want to come and chat or help during setup, I'm there at 8am.

I have you down for 2 pair.

I was going to ask you about the last part- good to know.

Wolf, I will be there again this year. Not sure if Friday or only Saturday. Will try to bring Hans SerVaas with me. He has many ribbons to sell as surplus.

    Phil Bamberg
You're on the list, Phil, and your guest is welcome.

Oh boy....Phil might be selling ribbons and Paul C. will be selling stuffs. And this year I made a deal with myself to NOT make any silly impulse buys.

Oh well......Wudn't be the first time I broke a deal with myself.

I'll be there Friday evening. Not sure if it'll be before or after dinner at this point yet.

I'll be bringing two different rat rod projects, and probably also some stuffs to sell.
