For the first time in the 8 years I have lived here, I was unable to open my front door due to inclement weather. 5" of frozen solid rain, sleet and now snow covering that. Speakchat is an option.
Don't listen to me - I have not sold any $150,000 speakers.
Ice chat anyone? Work just texted me with the much anticipated "Level I - come in when it is safe to do so" message. I suspect tomorrow will not be safe at any time, so let's chat!

Even though I try to tell everyone upfront, understand that I am still a Newb. I wish the status of Seasoned Veteran/Senior Member, etc. was earned with time not posts...

? Fight the Java! Make it work! But seriously, Mike, whats it telling ya?
It requires a specific version of java -- the latest and greatest version should be fine. If you have an old version on your PC now it WILL NOT work. I have this problem with my workstation at work. No speakchat with old java. No admin priviledges at work for me to fix that either. But it works fine on my $200 netbook. Woo hoo.

I have the latest version of Java on a water cooled gaming PC and nothing...just a blank box where the chat interface should be.

Doesn't work in my default browser(FF), and although there aren't any extensions installed, it doesn't work in Chrome either.
