Yeah, that Duelund resistor is about 100X more expensive than the cast resistor sitting next to it in Pete's pic. Nice contrast eh?
Live in Southern N.E.? check out the CT Audio Society web site.

I'm guessing the Duelund is in-line with the tweeter and the sandcast/wirewound is not.

These aren't DIY, but they could be if we put some work into them. I really like the look of these.

These next photos are also not DIY, but hey... why not? We (TT Forum)could pull it off, though it wouldn't be cheap! A guy can dream, right?

Re: Post the most beautiful builds you know of...

I've always been very fond of this build.......

I actually started these around January 2006. Once they were built and dialed in, I didn't want to take them back apart for veneer because I was enjoying listening to them. Well having to take the speakers out of my living room for a new floor was the perfect time to actually finish the job...

Yeah- an RS28A, Eton woofer, and your choice of dome-mid could make those doable. Too bad the Usher 9845 is NLA....I love mine!

The drivers on the rear of the top one make this a little less likely- and I find it ugly.

The lower one wouldn't be as bad.

Here's some commercial offerings I like a lot; aesthetically anyway.

I'll likely have one more post of 5...

Take a look at Passing Interest's sub build over at avsforum. Do a search on "howitzer". He does amazing work too.
